Ondeada y Revuelta, for guitar quartet, is a work structured in a single movement, which seeks to translate the timbric and melodic use of the marimba de chonta -an instrument from the Colombian South Pacific coast- to the classical guitar. Additionally, the piece uses a direct quote from Morning Dew, the second movement of The Four Quarters, a string quartet by Thomas Adès.
